A Message from the Friends of the Boone Area Library:
The Friends of the Boone Area Library meet the third Tuesday of each month in the library at 6:30 p.m. If you would like to help with programs, fundraisers, the Book Store, other events, or just find out what we’re up to…please join us. We’d love to have you and we welcome fresh ideas. If you cannot make the meetings but would still like to be involved, contact the library and we will have you added to the Friends' email list.
Computer Users: Please Sign In
Please sign in to use the computers. They are free to the public and offer the Internet and Microsoft Office programs as well as Power Library. Power Library allows you access to thousands of periodicals, newspapers, health information, and reference materials for all ages. Power Library also can be accessed from home via the Internet using your library card.
Check Your Bags
Just a reminder to our patrons, please check your bags at the front desk.
Renew Items
The Boone Area Library will renew items over the phone as long as there is no one waiting for them. You can also renew your items from home using your PC with Internet access. Simply click on the CATALOG icon on the library's homepage and follow the Login instructions to access your library account. If you encounter any problems, simply call the library and we will be happy to help you.
