-----------Children's Corner----------


Story time with Miss Jenny: The second and fourth Saturdays at 10:30 in the children’s room. This is a story time for older preschoolers and elementary aged children. No registration required.

 

Preschool Storytimes: Books, songs, rhymes and a craft. Presented by Children's Librarian Mrs. Charlotte Puff. Wednesdays at 10:30, no pre-registration is necessary.

 

Storyriders: Tuesdays at 11am. Join Miss Barb for a delightful morning of stories, songs and crafts. Check the event calendar for dates and descriptions. No pre-registration is necessary.

 

Toddler Time: A storytime for toddlers (firm afoot when walking or about 15 to 30 months) and their adult companions. This pattern of books, songs, and rhymes with movement is for those toddlers who never seem to sit still. Wednesdays at 11:30 no pre-registration is necessary.

 

Baby Lapsit: Takes place on Tuesdays. Please see our events calendar for current time schedules.

 

Family Storytime: A storytime for children of all ages and their parents Wednesdays at 6:30. Led by Miss Marie, this is a great stortytime for families who cannot attend in the daytime, or just want additional storytime fun. No pre-registration necessary. Please check our events calendar for specifics on topics and schedules.

 

Read to a Therapy Dog

Children can sign up to read to a therapy dog for 15 minutes, every third Saturday of the month from 10:30 to 11:30am at the library. If the hour is not fully reserved, children may extend their visit and/or walk-ins will be welcome.
