1000 Books Before Kindergarten
Do you have a child that enjoys reading and listening to stories?
If you do, 1000 Books Before Kindergarten is a great program to start with your child. Its simple. Just read a book to your newborn, infant, and/or toddler. The goal is to have read 1,000 books (yes you can repeat books) before your precocious one starts kindergarten. Once each child has read a certain amount of books, the child will receive a coloring page and a sticker. To join the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program, please come in to the Muhlenberg Community Library and register at the circulation desk. The best part is, its free!
Thank you to Weaver's Orchard for donating apples and apple cider for the MCL booth at the Laureldale Fall Festival!
Willow Street Pictures
Thank you to Willow Street Pictures for donating The Legacy Package to the winner of the raffle for the Luis Carlos Montalván and Tuesday presentations.
