Berks County Public Libraries

(est.1986) coordinates services offered by the 23 independent participating public libraries in Berks County. By sharing our collections, by consolidating our purchasing, cataloging and processing, and by creating cooperative services like the Storyriders and the Summer Reading Program, the libraries of BCPL are able to give to our communities well-run, dynamic libraries in the most efficient and cost-effective way.

Ongoing Programs

Basic Computer Classes

We offer a basic class on Wednesdays at 2:00 p.m. from September through May. Classes include basic Personal Computer and Internet instruction, and an introduction to Microsoft Word and other applications. Please call the library to register.

Eagle's Eye Book Group

Meets the second Tuesday of each month at 1:30pm. It is open to all adults. Members help choose the selections thoughout the year. Refreshments are served.

SIT & KNIT

Tuesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. Bring your knitting or crochet project; relax, share ideas, or get help with a project if needed.
