The library is always looking for energetic individuals to help us with shelving and special projects that keep the library operating smoothly. If you would like to become an ongoing volunteer, we ask that you are able to commit to 1-2 hours, at the same time each week. This helps us get items back on the shelves regularly so that patrons have ongoing access to materials. We provide all training necessary, a willingness to learn and commitment to participating is all that you need. The minimum age for volunteers is 14.

We also welcome one time volunteers for special events or projects, or if you have a special talent that you feel you can offer the library, please contact us. At certain times each year there may be openings on the Board of Trustees. Please let us know if you would be interested in serving as a Trustee.

Perhaps our biggest need for volunteers is during our summer reading program which runs June through August. We need help in the form of presenters, program assistants and shelvers during this very busy time of the year.
