Mifflin Community Library

Berks County Public Libraries

(est.1986) coordinates services offered by the 23 independent participating public libraries in Berks County. By sharing our collections, by consolidating our purchasing, cataloging and processing, and by creating cooperative services like the Storyriders and the Summer Reading Program, the libraries of BCPL are able to give to our communities well-run, dynamic libraries in the most efficient and cost-effective way.

The Mifflin Community Library is located at 6 Philadelphia Avenue in Shillington (Philadelphia Ave. and New Holland Avenue). This is at the main 5-point intersection in the borough (and the junction of Routes 222 and 724). For those familiar with Shillington, our location was the former location of Fulton/Great Valley Bank.

Off-street parking is available behind the library. Turn onto Franklin Street (Philadelphia Avenue / Route 724) or onto S. Miller St at the Windsor Inn (from W. Lancaster Ave. / Route 222) and follow the blue Library Logo signs to the library parking lot entrance.

Street parking is available along Philadelphia Ave. (Rt. 724) and New Holland Avenue. Note that New Holland Avenue is one-way toward Lancaster Avenue.
