Mifflin Community Library

What is PA Forward?

PA Forward is an initiative of the PA Library Association that endeavors to make libraries community centers of information, technology and learning by focusing on five main literacies. They are: Basic, Information, Civil and Social, Health and Financial. Here at the Mifflin Community Library we are committed to offering services and programming that help to further the PA Forward initiative in our community.

The Mifflin Community Library is located at 6 Philadelphia Avenue in Shillington (Philadelphia Ave. and New Holland Avenue). This is at the main 5-point intersection in the borough (and the junction of Routes 222 and 724). For those familiar with Shillington, our location was the former location of Fulton/Great Valley Bank.

Off-street parking is available behind the library. Turn onto Franklin Street (Philadelphia Avenue / Route 724) or onto S. Miller St at the Windsor Inn (from W. Lancaster Ave. / Route 222) and follow the blue Library Logo signs to the library parking lot entrance.

Street parking is available along Philadelphia Ave. (Rt. 724) and New Holland Avenue. Note that New Holland Avenue is one-way toward Lancaster Avenue.
