Friends of the Library
The Friends of the Spring Township Library
is a non-profit organization established in May of 2005
to work independently, but in cooperation with the
library staff and the Board of Trustees.
The Friends strive to improve, promote and support the library through
all phases of the library's growth and function
by providing financial
and volunteer assistance. 2009-2010

Donations
The Spring
Township Library gratefully accepts donations of gently used books.
Donations may be dropped off at any time during library hours.
We will gladly provide you with a receipt for tax purposes.
Books that are not selected for the library's collection will be added to our ongoing book
sale.
Unfortunately, we cannot
find a home for the following:
Magazines * Encyclopedias
* Readers Digest Condensed Books
Travel or Computer books more than 3 years old
Anything that smells musty
Please keep in mind our
definition of Gently Used:
Books, Audiobooks, Videos, Music CDs, Software CDs that are in saleable
condition.
Please no torn covers, ripped pages or mildew. If you have stored your
donations
in the garage or the basement, we would prefer that you dispose of
them in your recycling or trash.
(In order to recycle hardcover books,
remove the covers)

Consider adopting a book for the library!
After filling out a form to
Adopt-a-Book, we will purchase the book and a nameplate with the inscription of
your choice will be placed inside the front cover.

Book title is
subject to approval by either the Library Director or the Children's Librarian.

Create-a-Tile
Make your mark on Spring
Township Library with a great family activity -
Create a tile to decorate the check-out desk!
After filling out a form to
Create-a-Tile,
schedule a date and time to come in

create
your masterpiece.
All materials are here at the library.
We'll call you when your tile has been installed.
Please note that we need at least six finished
tiles to display one row.
