Who needs to hear from you?

Your public libraries depend on the support of state, county and local governments, local clubs and non-profit organizations. These entities have many competing demands on their limited funds and need to know that you value the library as a community resource.

What do the Friends Do?

  • The Friends try to create public support for expanding the library's programs and building needs.
  • We help to provide materials and services for the library that are not included in the regular budget.
  • The Friends work to promote legislation and appropriations that will benefit the library.
  • Each year we would like our membership to grow so that we can provide all these services and more in the future.

    How to Become a Friend

We would like to encourage all our readers to join the Friends if they have not done so already. It is very easy and we would like you to help us in any way that you can. If you would like to join us just to show your support for the library, that is OK, too.

You can find out more about us by reading the bulletin board in the library or watching for our news on this web site each month.

Remember, we have an email address where you can reach us to ask questions or send us information or suggestions that will help us to improve the Friends exlibfriends@verizon.net. Print out this form and mail it with your contribution to Friends of the Exeter Library, 4569 Preswick Dr., Reading PA 19606. Also, we're on Facebook!
